About
Fabio Di Bartolomei
One of FIAM's most successful partnerships is with Fabio Di Bartolomei, who designed the Epsylon table, the Brigitte chair, the Admiral mirror in curved glass, and the Elix and Homo Sapiens pieces of glass furniture.
Fabio di Bartolomei was born in Udine and opened the Di Bartolomei Design Studio there in 1979. He mostly works in architecture and interior design, designing both public and private buildings and pieces of furniture.
Soon after, he started working with some of the most important Italian furniture and lighting companies, like FIAM, Tonon, Bieffeplast, Montina, Calligaris, and Skipper, on industrial design.
Di Bartolomei has shown his designs in both Italy and other countries. In 1996, he was given the "Marcello d' Olivo" award for design.
