DESCRIPTION

New forms, technology, and materials are continually inspiring designers to push the boundaries of their craft.

One such experiment, completed in tandem with designer Harry-Paul, resulted in the BCN stool. Initially, it was the form—an ergonomic and sinuous seat—that inspired the team to explore novel technology and a novel material—PBT, a plastic that is both robust and flexible—uncommon in the furniture industry.
