The Geen-a reading lamp, made by Kartell, is an addition to the company's lighting collection. The familiar yet interesting appearance of the simple lines belies a great sense of attitude.

You may choose between white, black, or brick for the piece's matte finish, and it comprises of a base, a lightshade, three LED lamps, a stem, and a handle for portability. Like the simple pleasure of reading, this lamp is uncomplicated.

Ferruccio Laviani

Having graduated from Cremona's International Professional Institute for Violin and Wood Crafts in 1978, Pietro Ferruccio Laviani has been making music ever since. He was born in Cremona in 1960.

In 1984, he earned a degree in design from Milan's SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design under Nino Di Salvatore. Two years later, in 1986, he earned a degree in architecture from Milan Polytechnic under the tutelage of Marco Zanuso and Achille Castiglioni.
