The Karelia armchair was one of the novelties presented by Zanotta at 2022 Milano Design Week Salone del Mobile 2022; after an update in terms of size and an improvement in structure, it has been back in production. Designed by the Finnish Liisi Beckmann, this 60’s pop icon is inspired by the Finnish region where the designer was born; the characteristic wave-like surface of the seat in fact recalls the Republic of Karelia in Finland an intact land, indented by creeks, gulfs and lakes.
