About
Amebe Design Studio
After gaining professional experience and education elsewhere, Alessandra Mantovani (1983) and Eleonora Barbareschi (1984) decided to establish their own studio in Italy in July 2008.
They work on design and communication together, juggling regular jobs with the development of personal initiatives.
The amoeba, whose name comes from the ancient Greek for "changing, transformation," served as inspiration for the abbreviation of their names, AMeBE.
As the authors put it, "we love to birth ideas that probe the realm of feelings, emotions, frequently through an ironic and critical interpretation of life."
