DESCRIPTION

This artful console, where rustic and contemporary influences meet, will bring a piece of Venice into any sophisticated modern or contemporary interior decor. Briccola poles seemingly emerge from the extra-thin glossy steel top just like they do from the Venetian lagoon, an effect of extraordinary evocative power that contributes to the design's show-stopping flair.

About

Claudio Bellini

Claudio Francesco Bellini (1963) is a Milanese architect and industrial designer who studied at the Polytechnic.

Between the years 1990 and 1996, he worked with Mario Bellini Associati on a number of different international architecture and design competition entries.

He established his forward-thinking design company, Atelier Bellini, in 1996, where he has been doing groundbreaking research into the interplay between cutting-edge technology and the artistic process.

With the release of his groundbreaking TW Collection (Frezza) office furniture system in 1998, he presented a fresh take on the design of today's workplace.

Since that time, his enormous output of cutting-edge initiatives in this field has tremendously aided in predicting behavior and trends in the changing nature of the modern workplace.

Today, Claudio Bellini Design, a studio with worldwide renown, is involved in a wide range of planning sectors, from design to architecture, and works with major corporations all over the world.

The likes of the Red Dot, IF, and Good Design Award have been bestowed upon several of his work for their exceptional quality.

From 2004 to 2008, he was an associate professor in the Department of Architecture and Design at the University of Genoa, and he is currently the art director for a number of well-known businesses. He also frequently gives seminars and lectures at venues all over the world.

Claudio Bellini likens his creative process to a "adventure of the mind" in which he lets go of any preconceived notions and is instead driven by things like curiosity and hope.

This outlook, along with a unique appreciation for technological advancement and the ever-changing nature of the modern market, is readily apparent in his selection of projects and his approach to work.
