Giorgio Cattelan

Giorgio Cattelan, who was born in Thiene, Italy, founded the renowned Cattelan Italia Spa furniture company. Giorgio, the son of a carpenter, and five of his seven brothers all ended up in the furniture business because of their enormous talent and the fact that their father was a carpenter.

Giorgio Cattelan's large dining tables are well-known for their playful use of geometry, which elevates them to the level of usable sculptures. In addition, he uses kinetic elements in his designs so that the tables can be easily adjusted to fit rooms of varying dimensions.
