Alberto Meda

Engineer and designer Alberto Meda was born in the Italian town of Tremezzina, province of Como, in 1945.

He received a laurea in mechanical engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1969. At Kartell, he oversaw the creation of furniture and plastic laboratory equipment beginning in 1973 in his role as technical manager.
