Callas Chair

Weber is the designer behind the FIAM Bacall and Callas chairs.


Weber, who was born in Zurich in 1973, studied mechanics before shifting his focus to industrial and jewelry design at the city's University of the Arts.


He worked as a product designer for Haeberli Marchand, Gebrüder Thonet GmbH, and Christophe Marchand before he opened his own studio. He joined the Hannes Wettstein agency in 2004 and served as head of the interior design department until 2010.


In 2010, he established his Zurich-based studio, This Weber Design Unlimited LLC, and quickly attracted a roster of high-profile clients from across the globe. Year after year, he served as an adjunct professor in the art and design department at the University of Applied Science and Art, where he lectured on the subject of furniture design.
