Elio Vigna
The curved glass umbrella stand Cobra was designed by Elio Vigna and manufactured by FIAM.
Vigna's 1950 birthplace is Mantua. At the University of Architecture in Genoa, he was an active adjunct professor teaching courses in Perception and Visual Communication in the Industrial Design section of the Department of Science for Architecture.
He designed various museums and was an architect. To name a few:
There were two exhibitions in Genoa in 1998, "Pubblico e privato per via XX Settembre" and "Sosabravo: da Cuba per Genova," both held at Palazzo dell'Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti, and in 1999, "Giovanni immagini, nel centro storico di Genova," held at the same venue.
As well as being the co-author of "Pietre di Liguria: materiali e tecniche per l'architettura storica" and the curator of "Centro Storico di Genova, inquietudini e incanti," Elio Vigna holds a PhD in Analysis and Representation of the Built.
