EN is a series of glass coffee tables realized by resorting to a high-temperature fusion process. In Japanese, EN just stands for “round shape”, as to evoke the fate of an encounter that subtends and symbolizes inclusion. The glass top gets inspiration from the camellia dish, an essential element in the Japanese tea ceremony. Its shape, slightly concave, conveys a sense of safety and protection for the objects inside.
