Together with her husband, Oscar Buratti, an architect, Gabriele Buratti taught interior design at Politecnico di Milano's Faculty of Design from 2003 to 2010. Their firm, Buratti Architetti, specializes in both architecture and design.

The studio works on a wide range of scales and types of projects, including but not limited to: building and urban design; residential and commercial interiors; furniture and lighting design; exhibition and showroom design; and so on.

Buildings of all types are designed by these architects, who seek to strike a balance between cultural and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original vision and product quality.

This includes both new construction and renovation projects, as well as interventions in historic centers, complex building renovations, villas, and interiors of offices, dwellings, shops, and showrooms. They work with numerous well-known names in the retail and furnishings industries on joint projects.
