Each development process faces the challenge of defining and creating a design language for each product or space that impacts the quality of life of its users. Weber's design philosophy is to make complicated things seem easy to use.
"I want to give things a value that people can understand," he says. This Weber, a native of Switzerland who grew up to become a mechanic, attended the School of Art and Design at the University of Zurich to study jewelry and industrial design.
This Weber started his own firm in Zurich in 2010 and has since attracted a wide range of domestic and international clients.
As a visiting lecturer in the department of Design & Art at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art, he has been teaching furniture design there since 2010.
This Weber worked in product development at Haeberli Marchand (Zurich), Gebrüder Thonet GmbH (Frankenberg D), and Christophe Marchand (Paris) before he opened his own studio.
He oversaw the furniture design team at Hannes Wettstein's design firm from 2004 to 2010.
